Aubrey Lee Bivens Jr.

Aubrey Bivens, Jr. of Houston, Texas went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the age of 71. He was a grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Aubrey was born on September 8, 1945 in Galveston, Texas. He graduated from high school and joined the Navy after graduation. Aubrey lived a full and rewarding life in which his family and serving his Lord were his main priorities. He was active in church and a deacon until his illness made it impossible. He took great joy in serving the Lord. He strived effortlessly to provide for his family and teach them values to carry with them throughout life. He loved his job and that was displayed in his unwavering work ethics.

Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents Edna Lee and Aubrey Lee Bivens, Sr.; sister, Linda Lee Miller; daughter in law Sheri Bivens, and sister in law Maggie Farlow. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Betty Lou Bivens; sons, Michael Bivens, Stephen Bivens and wife Brenda, Timothy Bivens and wife Marta, and William Bivens; daughters, Angela Nail, Jennifer Hight and husband Craig; brother, Frank Eugene Bivens; grandchildren, Janet, Lauren, Jackson, Alley, Addison, Olivia, Lauraly, Skyla, Dylan, Kelsey, Emma, Taylor, Maddox, Jeremy, Timothy, William and 2 nephews.
