Augustine F Stoeckert

TIKI ISLAND –Augustine (Tina) Frances Dominik Wade Stoeckert, 84, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s and has now found Peace in her new home in heaven. She was born in Stoneham, Texas on January 11, 1933 to Louis and Catherine Dominik, whom preceded her in death. Her husband, Anthony Stoeckert; her son, Dennis Eugene Wade; her sisters, Vickie Fitch and Pauline Greeney; her brother, Sonny Dominik also preceded her in death. Augustine was a devout Catholic and exceptional homemaker. She found great joy in baking pies and desserts for family gatherings. She loved nothing more than being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Augustine is survived by her Daughters, Cynthia Hartis & husband, Kerry of Tiki Island; Susan Davis & husband, Paul of Spring; Granddaughters, Shalle Hovorka & husband, Ray of Cypress; Nicole Wade of Houston; Jensen Davis of Spring; Grandsons, Nicholas Wade of Houston; Zachary Davis of Spring; Niece, and Goddaughter, Debbie Franklin; Nephew and Godson, Scott Carlson; her Great Grandchildren, Graham, Lane, and Wade Hovorka; Sisters, Clara Borski; Florine Carlson and husband Bobby; Dolores Jackson and husband Bob; Sister-in-law, Phyllis Dominik; Brother, Anton Dominik and wife, Jean; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6PM until the rosary at 7PM on Friday, October 20th at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Tx. There will be a funeral mass 10AM Saturday, at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica, 2011 Church St. in Galveston, with luncheon following at Tiki Island Chapel, 835 Tiki Drive. Internment at Brookside Cemetery at 3:00PM, Houston. Pallbearers will be Kerry Hartis, Paul Davis, Ray Hovorka, Nicholas Wade, Zachary Davis, and Graham Hovorka. Honorary Pallbearer, Wade Hovorka.
