

Our beloved Father Augusto “Vhoy” Lazatin Dizon, 76, returned to his heavenly home on July 30, 2017 after a valiant battle with a long illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Auguston was born to the late Ambrosio and Romana Dizon, a simple person with Love and a homemaker respectively, in Manila, Philippines on January 18, 1941. He was raised in the rural community that become his lifelong support from an early age. He was a youth minister and taught youth group to students from the Mapua Institute in 1959 with a degree in Architecture and worked as a Draftsman/Designer in J&G Guam Construction, Guam U.S.A. and Buhler/Keller Company, Makati Philippines, for 15 years.
Augusto was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best friend and schoolmate, Cristeta Duldulao, on July 2, 1960 in San Andres Manila, Philippines for 57 years and migrated from the Philippines to Houston, Texas. Augosto raised his six childres with patience, discipline and humility, helped with school projects. He often took them on long family trips to see the natural beauty of Province in the North and South parts of Philippines. From the very beginning, he taught his children to become Good and Respectful people.
Augusto was an educator at heart. He was kind and soft-spoken, and always found the time to help. He will be missed by his loves ones who celebrate the fact
that he is at peace with his creator.
Augusto is survived by his wife Cristeta; his children Eddieboy, Mark, Augusto Jr. (Jojo), Alain, Jomar, and Maria Mercedes; his grandchildren Aldrin, Edoard Xavier, Cristina EKart, Eric John, Ervin James, Augusto Francisco, Bryan, John Christopher, Philippe, Joanna, Anjo, Vonelle, Christen Reishelle, and great grandchild Andrei. He is preceded in death by his Parents Ambrosio and Romana Dizon, his sister Bellaflor, and his nephew Jason.
Augusto will be buried at the Forest Park Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on August 9 with a reception to follow. Reverent/Deacon Rey A. will officiate the service. The family gratefully thanks everybody, and prayers, and condolences are gladly accepted.
