Aurelio Rodriguez, III

Aurelio graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude from Aldine High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree also with honors, in Computer Science from the University of Houston. He worked as a Field Maintenance Technician for Trans Core. Aurelio had many hobbies, some of which included watching and collecting movies and music and watching Houston team sports. He even played little league baseball in his early life for Northside National Little League where he made the All-Star team and held many homerun records.

Aurelio was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maria Christina Rodriguez; and uncle, Alfonso Rodriguez. He is survived by his loving wife of four years, Venessa Isabel Galvan; his parents, Hilda H. and Aurelio Rodriguez, Jr.; his children, Sophia Isabel, Giovanni Alejandro and Genevieve Vanessa; and his siblings, Mario Alberto Rodriguez and Gladys Rodriguez; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Friday, June 27, 2014 in the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home Champions, 3410 FM 1960 West, Houston, Texas 77068, with a Rosary at 6:30pm. Funeral services will be at 11am on Saturday, June 28, 2014 in the chapel of Brookside Champions, Fr. Franco Cecchini, Celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be brought to the services for Aurelio’s children.
