Born July 12, 1957, to Elpidio and Bertha Inocencio, Barbara grew up steeped in the traditions of rural Texas and carried its warmth, faith, and love of family throughout her life.
On September 26, 1975, she married Julian Arispe, her partner of 50 years. Together they filled their home with laughter and filled dance floors with grace—their song, “Neon Moon” by Brooks & Dunn, always drawing them close under the glow of neon lights.
Barbara was a devoted mother to daughters Jessica, Jennifer, Jacqulyn, and Elizabeth, and a cherished Nana to grandchildren Jasmine, Jacob, Jaylyn, Isabella, Gabriella, Miracle, and Alexander. She held the treasured memory of granddaughter Jillian, who preceded her in death. Her hugs, homemade meals, and stories will live forever in their hearts.
She treasured lifelong friendships and the joy of girls’ nights filled with laughter and unbreakable bonds.
Barbara is survived by her husband Julian; daughters Jessica, Jennifer, Jacqulyn, and Elizabeth; grandchildren Jasmine, Jacob, Jaylyn, Isabella, Gabriella, Miracle, and Alexander; sister Mamie Luevano; brother Pete Inocencio; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elpidio and Bertha Inocencio; brothers Robert Venegas, Alex Inocencio, and Fredrick Inocencio; sisters Jacqueline Inocencio and Sylvia Inocencio; and granddaughter Jillian.
Barbara’s life was a beautiful dance of love, faith, and family. She will be eternally missed and forever remembered.
