Barbara Jean Coleman

Barbara Jean Coleman, beloved wife of Steven Coleman and cherished mother of Yolanda, Claudia, Tracy, Shonda, Anastasia, and Eno, peacefully passed away on January 22, 2024, surrounded by family. Born on August 18, 1949, Barbara lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Throughout her 47 years of marriage to Steven, Barbara exemplified the true essence of partnership and companionship. Together, they built a life based on love, respect, and mutual support, creating countless memories that will be cherished forever.

Barbara's love knew no bounds. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to nurturing her children, instilling in them values of kindness, faith, compassion, integrity, resilience and being a lady. Her unconditional love and guidance have shaped the lives of her children and will continue to inspire them in the years to come.

Barbara was known for her warmth, generosity, and genuine care for others. Her beautiful smile, compassionate spirit, and comforting presence touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on February 2, 2024 at The Freedom Center Church in Missouri City, TX.
