Barbara Ann Gragert

Barbara was born in Houston, Texas on September 20, 1939, to parents Marvin and Junie Bonds. She met Leroy in school, and they were married on October 17, 1955. Barbara was a member of the Bammel Church of Christ and had a passion for cooking and taking care of babies.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Junie Bonds; father, Marvin Bonds; and sister, Beverly Caloudas.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy Gragert; son, Roger Gragert; daughter, Rhonda Stewart; brother, Alvin Gragert; daughter in law, Noel Gragert; son in law, Marcus Stewart; granddaughters, Laureen Carnathan and spouse Patrick, and Taylor Gragert Raiford and spouse Taylor; grandson, Ross Gragert and spouse Kendall; great-grandson, James Carnathan, and great-granddaughters, Clara Carnathan, Autumn Gragert, and Willow Gragert.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bammel Church of Christ, 2700 Cypress Creek Pkwy, Houston, TX 77068. A funeral will occur Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location, with a graveside to follow at 2:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ross Gragert, Taylor Raiford, Josh Allen, and Steve Caloudas.
