

Barbara was born on May 1, 1937, in Livingston, Texas, to Brooks Turner and Velma Jewel (Judy) Turner. She graduated from Reagan High School in 1954, where she met the love of her life, Leo Hoffart. The two were married in September 1957 and shared a beautiful life together until Leo’s passing in 1986.
Barbara began her professional life with Cal-Tex Citrus Juice and later worked for Johnston Motor Company, where she was affectionately recognized as the “Office Orchid” at both workplaces for her grace, dedication, and cheerful spirit. After many years devoted to raising her family, Barbara rejoined the workforce and continued an active career until the age of 72.
On May 9, 1998, Barbara married Daniel Richard Edwards. Together, they shared 27 wonderful years of love and companionship, celebrating their most recent anniversary this past May.
Barbara was known for her warmth, wit, and unwavering devotion to her family. She brought joy and kindness to everyone she met and will be remembered for her generous heart and vibrant spirit.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Hoffart; parents Brooks and Velma Jewel (Judy) Turner; stepbrothers Stafford Turner and Richard Turner; sister Billie Webb and brother-in-law Bill Webb; brothers- and sisters-in-law Antoine Hoffart, Betty and Bill Wischnewsky, William Hoffart; grandson Josh Welch; and nephew Matthew Turner.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Richard Edwards; daughters Cozette Levay (Philip) and Kelly Robinson (Randall); stepchildren Daniel Guy Edwards, James Edwards, and Shelley Edwards; siblings Charlie Turner (Jan) and Sandra Turner; sisters- and brothers-in-law Brenda Hoffart, Mary Hoffart, Ted and Susie Hoffart; and cherished grandchildren Jon Welch, Cody Levay (Erin), Chase Levay, Matt Scott, Brennan Edwards, Cameron Edwards, and Daphne Edwards.
She is also survived by a host of beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
Barbara’s legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
