May mama’s soul continue to rest in the bossom of the Lord. Mildred my sister, be comforted with the rest of your family.

In loving memory of my dear aunt in-law,  “Aunty Onicha” like we fondly call her. I will never forget when I first  came into the family Aunty was a constant source of warmth and kindness in my life. During the times when my husband was away in the U.S before I joined him, she was always  extending unwavering support, ensuring I never felt alone. Her nurturing spirit made even the toughest days brighter.
She had a special way of making me feel cherished, and a playful pet name that she called me “Nwunye Eze” brought comfort and joy. Those moments I will forever hold close.
I am deeply grateful for the times I visited in Florida and remember our conversation as we drove back home  from the pharmacy. She loved and cared for others. She will always hold a special place in my heart .

Aunty Onitcha, inhabits a prominent and special place in my earliest memories as a child. Growing up in Omoku, I fondly remember her kind and generous spirit. I looked forward to her coming home at Christmas time because she would always brings us presents. Whenever she was visiting, she would bring us packs of balloons. As kids, Auntie always came through and we had so much fun playing with those balloons. In addition, Auntie would often include a special bubble gums or chewing gum as we call them in Naija. The gums came with photo cards of national flags of various countries. I collected stack of these cards and they gave me a head start in my geography lessons. But my favorite of the cards were those that had photos of cowboys from Western movies - legends like John Wayne, Charlton Heston, Michael Landon, Clint Eastwood, Gary Cooper, Gregory Peck to name a few. Looking back, these cards were my first real contact with America. They sparked my love for America and inspired a dream that took decades to realize. 
Auntie Onitcha was loved and beloved. She had a large heart, strength of character and a beautiful personality. Her legacy lives on in the amazing children, grandchildren and all the lives she touched. She’ll be missed but as the Bible says; to be absent from the body is to be present with God. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

TRIBUTE TO AN EXCEPTIONAL AND UNFORGETTABLE  MOTHER
Time and space will not permit me to write about you mama, an accolade you richly deserve. 

Sisi Iriebe  as you were fondly called, you were an epitome of humanity, love and passion to all that interacted with you in your sojourn on earth.

 I can still recall vividly my first encounter with you in 1996 when I , in company of my late friend Nnamdi Godwill Osademe  of blessed memory visited  your residence at Iriebe,, Port Harcourt. At that visit, I got to understand why the Osademe family held  you to highest esteem as being a mother to all.As a family friend of the Osademe for forty year, I can attest to  to the fact that mama extended the same loving hand to me and all those that associated with the Osademe family. 

As the matriah of the   Osademe, you were more than a defacto head of the Osademe dynasty of Omoku, Rivers State of Nigeria. You were always available to give your wise counsel and not giving unto injustice . 
Mama you are indeed a great mother and shall be missed by all.
