You adopted me and my siblings and gave us a better life i wish it was a way for me to repay you …It took me forever to write this cause i just couldn’t come to terms with you really being gone💔  who I'm supposed to talk to ?  Who im supposed to run to with all my problems ? Im lost and i wish you were here. Life been hard lately and i don’t know who to call.. i miss you , & i love you sweet lady . My Heart is full but I know Cousin u are ok..it saddens my heart to have learned of your passing..we use to connect on a daily if I didn't text u..I would get one from u asking where is my message..the new wave of things with cell phone switching changing intervene in our connection..I never stopped what I have done for many years I kept u at heart since I wasn't able to reach u..we won't be able to make that connect how we were so use to of doing but u will forever be connected just a Lil bit closer right here in my >❤️.. I will always miss you. One of the sweetest people I have ever had s chance to meet.  I'm blessed to have had you in my life.  It was an honor to call you my family.  Forever in my heart ❤️ 

It is with deep sadness that I send my condolences to Rena's family.  She was such a sweet and loving person.  She fostered and adopted several children who were in the custody of the State of Texas for many years.  She was a devoted caregiver.  I spent many days in her home over the years as she helped children deal with their abuse and trauma.  

Rena is now with her parents, brother and beloved son.  Absent from the body present with the Lord.  No more worrying.  Home at last.  Rest in peace.  

I'm miss u so much Aunt Rena!!! Always ❤️ U!!! Ur niece LaSandra Finister Mackey
