Bernadette Menard

Bernadette Menard, age 86 of Spring ,Tx. passed away on February 28 ,2012. She was born on March 26, 1925 in Lafayette, LA. A loving mother, she died peacefully surrounded by her famiy. She is survived by her three children,Thomas Menard, Patricia Menard Astolfo and husband Harry, and Sharon Menard. She has 9 grand children, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. Mom was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Malcolm of 57 years, and her daughter Phyllis Menard Christopher. Visitation wii be Sunday, March 4,from 1-7:00 P.M. with a Rosary following from 7-8:00 P.M. at Brookside Funeral Home/Champions. Services celebrating her life will be at 12:00 P.M. Monday, March 5, 2012 in the Chapel. Interment will follow at the Houston National Cemetary at 2:00 P.M. Mom was a wonderful lady. She cherished her family and her cajun heritage. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Her family would like to express a special thanks to her doctors and home health caregivers. She really appreciated their comfort, help and kindness. Pallbearers: Bryan Menard, Cleve Menard, Keith Menard, Sean Astolfo, Steven Wright, and Dan Bubien.
