

Beverly Joan Heald (Buie), age 83, born August 18, 1940, in the state of Texas, went home to be with our Lord on November 14, 2023. She passed away peacefully in a family home surrounded by her children.
She had many professional achievements. She was employed by ISK Magnetics for many years. She held a Funeral Directors License since 1976 in New Mexico and Texas. She was employed by Earthman Funeral Home on Fannin for many years as well as Pasadena Funeral Chapel. Before she earned her Funeral Director’s License, she was a first responder and drove an ambulance for several years. This career path gave her the knowledge and understanding to develop a grief share ministry at Sagemont Church where she attended for 25+ years. This Grief Share Ministry continues today. This was her calling and passion to equip people through the grief process of loss.
Mom was known for her pie baking, and they were requested by many. She had a love for music and was an accomplished pianist. She loved flowers which she enjoyed greatly in the springtime. Mom was an animal lover and was especially fond of her cats. She was complemented often on her beautiful smile. Mom enjoyed volunteering and was a member of The Daughters of the Republic of Texas, she also held a current membership with the Sheriff’s Association of Texas and made contributions to many charitable organizations.
Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, Aurora Fairclough, her father, Charles Marion Buie and her brother, Charles Marion Buie Jr.
She was survived by her sisters, Sandra Kay Hendrickson (Jim) and Ashley Elaine Davis. Her five children Sharron, Susan, Julie, Joni, and Michael, along with their families which includes eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who called her Memaw.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Beverly’s name to the ASPCA.
