Beverly Jean Miller, 71, of Brazoria TX went home to be with Jesus on January 11, 2016. She was born in Owensboro, KY on August 10th, 1944. Beverly graduated from Brazosport High School. She was married to Earl Wayne Miller for 36 years. Beverly had a career in our education system here in Brazoria County with both the Brazosport ISD as well as Columbia/Brazoria ISD, and worked for the justice system for a while as well. She had a passion for reading and history. She is survived by her husband, 3 children: Karen Shelton and family, Daryl Bailey, David Bailey and family, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister Pam Webb and family, and brother Allen Hall and family. There will be a graveside service at the Houston National Cemetery, Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 12:30pm, you are welcome to arrive to Lane 1 at 12:15pm. The family asks for a kind word and a prayer in lieu of flowers.
