Beverly Roberts Ross

Beverly was born on July 4, 1935, in Texas City, Texas, as the only child of Ray W. And Ellen S. Roberts. She attended The University of Texas/Austin where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Beverly began her career as a Bacteriologist and Medical Technologist at Houston Methodist Hospital. After an introduction by her future sister-in-law, Betty (Ross) Fleming, Beverly married her husband Bill Ross in 1961. One year later, they welcomed their only daughter, Sheri.

Beverly was a true Southern lady. Her thoughtfulness and grace were cherished by all who knew her.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bill Ross; daughter Sheri Ross Vernon; grandson Ross Alexander Vernon; sister-in-law Betty Fleming; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Claudia Morejon for her extraordinary care and friendship during the last year of Beverly’s life.
