Billie Jo Rowley

Billie Jo graduated from Hot Springs High School. She met Ronald in Corpus Christi and married in November 5, 1949. Billie was a part of the Red Hat Society and had a passion for craft making. She had an unforgettable personality, constantly playing around, and being silly. She taught all of us a lot. Billie loved her family; and with a heart as caring as hers was it is no surprise she spent her time volunteering at hospitals and schools. Billie was in a sorority, and was PTA President. She had an active spirit. Billie loved everywhere she went, and was always involved in something.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Fredrick Rowley; sons, Leslie Phillip Rowley, and Ronald Fredrick Rowley II; grandson, Ronald Fredrick Rowley III.

Billie is survived by her children, Vicki Pate (Jimmy), Geoffrey Rowley (Patti), and Debbie Rowley; grandchildren, Tracy Poden (Roger), Briana Ponsonby (Jonathan), Michal Pate (Cat), and Candace Kamp Smith; great grandchildren, Paige Poden, Jake Poden, Trenton Ponsonby, Avery Ponsonby, Emersyn Ponsonby, Kali Kamp, and Jennifer Rowley.

A visitation for Billie will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A committal service will occur Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
