Billie left so many great memories and kindness of an angel.  I am so glad to have known your Mother, Grandmother, Friend to so many. Sorry for your loss, yet know that her family is great people, living in the light of her love!

I met Billie when I came visiting my cousin Anita.  In an instant she gave the warmth and welcome that was similar to one from a close family member.  I remember my limited time in her home and presence very fondly, and appreciate much her support and love towards my cousin and her family.  Loss of a very lovely person.  My condolences to her extended family and friends.

Billie was one of the first people I met when I moved to the Wood Fern community.  She was not only a leader in the community but also a friend.  She will be missed

A true artist, phenominal seamstress, cook, homemaker.  She had an
artist's eye in every endeavor. She had a deep appreciation of craftsmanship, history, culture and art and created beauty around her.
She was a very kind person but also spunky with a great wit.
She will be missed by all who knew her but never forgotten.

My love to this family whom I have been blesed to know since Sherry Watson Matina and I began our friendship as students at UT Austin,  working on the “drag” at Snyder-Chenards, a friendship that has spanned forty + years.

Billie was a warm, gracious, generous lady, a truly lovely and loving person who leaves the lives of all she touched a little richer for having known her.  God bless her family and close friends!

So sorry to hear of Billie's passing. I knew Billie through the antique world and was first introduced to her by my dear friend Gladys Gay who is in heaven with Billie. Billie was a fun vivacious person and will be missed.

Billie Lee was my mentor, friend and wildflower road trip companion.  Rick and I enjoyed having Billie accompany us every spring in search of the most colorful, magnificent specimens God ever made and gave to us Texans!  She shared my love of flowers, nature and all things wild and free. She also loved a good road trip, with frequent stops at hole in the wall places to find antique treasures and a good meal!  She improved my world, gave me sage advice and fed me when I was sick, or there when I just needed a loving shoulder to cry on. I will cherish all our Texas road trips, some of the happiest days of my life. Billie was my biggest fans and loved my photographs. Thank you Billie for all your encouragement, kind words and love. God blessed me when he put you into my life. I hope you knew how much I loved you. You will live forever in my heart.

 Billie was one of my mother's best friends.  She was a sweet and dear person.  I will miss reading her wonderful letters to Mother.  Emily Neal

Billie was truly a beautiful person; she was kind, sweet, caring and so thoughtful. We were blessed to have her be a part of our community family for many years. She will be missed greatly and remembered fondly. Our prayers for strength go out to her family and friends.
