Billy Clyde Edwards Sr. born October 2, 1934 passed away May 2, 2012. He will be greatly missed by his children, Debbie Marin, Tammy McCoy, Jack Edwards, Bill Edwards Jr., Julie Edwards, Mark Edwards, Tommy Edwards; grandchildren, Steve, Kevin, Arika, Holt, Misty, Marshall, Mitchell, Michael, Te’Aira, Rai’Van, Kim, Jennifer, Michael, Chevo, Xavier, Joyce, Kelly, Frank, Charlotte; 34 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Shifflet, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Billy was a very unique man with a great distinct personality. He loved his family and he loved his work. His creative mind allowed him to work hard and was able to fight cancer almost 30 years ago. He was adventurous as he enjoyed world traveling, hunting, horse trading and bargain hunting. Billy found good bargains and was known to be a “pack rat”. He was a social butterfly and love being in love.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, May 7, 2012 at Brookside Grand Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
