Billy C. Moore, 89, passed away on May 4th, 2022, from a long battle with dementia and physical complications. Even though his failing health took him away from this world, his smile and happy greetings will always be remembered by his family and friends in the community.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sarah. He was a proud father to two daughters: Carol, and Cheryl. A loving grandfather to 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Even though he was retired, Billy had a full circle of friends and acquaintances at the grocery store, the post office, the local donut shop, as well as many others who will miss seeing him on a regular basis. When we wasn’t visiting his favorite spots in the community, you could find him happily smiling, playing a round of golf. If he could have, he would have played all seven days of the week.
Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home Champions on May 11th, 2022 from 4:00pm- 8:00pm with a brief graveside ceremony on May 12th 2022 at Rocky Springs Cemetery in Dialville, Texas.
