
Bobbie Sue Sealey West, 81, of Georgetown, Texas, went to be with her Lord on Monday the 16th of February 2015. Bobbie was born on the 2nd of November 1933, in Elm Mott, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Albert O. Sealey and Mary Elizabeth Earley Sealey.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis L. West; daughter, Pamela S. Hopper; son-in-law, Michael Hopper; brothers, Lawerence Sealey, Tomas Sealey, and Robert Sealey; and great-granddaughter, Brisa Mulla. She was survived by her sister, Connie Weyant of Vacaville, California; her son, Lawerence West of Beaumont, Texas; grand-son, Jason Mulla of Tegucigalpa, Honduras; and step-granddaughter, Angela Frank of Memphis, Tennessee.
Bobbie enjoyed painting, sewing, boating, fishing, traveling, playing dominos, cross-word puzzles, and reading. She worked for many years for insurance companies. She lived in Houston from 1963 until she and her husband retired to Galveston in 1991. Bobbie lived in Galveston for 9 years. She moved to Georgetown in 2000 and became a member of First Baptist Church of Georgetown. She was a lovely lady that made people feel special and she never bragged about how many people she helped.
An interment will be conducted at half-past nine o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 20th of February, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1510 Antoine Drive in Houston.
