Boyd was born in Houston, Texas September 13, 1956 to CB Junior & Shirley Jones. He was married to Sandra for 42 years. Boyd worked in the elevator industry the majority of his life. If he wasn’t working you could find him, umpiring, fishing or hunting. He was a devoted husband, father and papaw. He loved his family fiercely.
He was preceded in death by his parents, CB & Shirley Jones.
Boyd is survived by his darling wife, Sandra; daughters, Mandy Shanklin and husband Blain, and Kellie Langley and husband Nathan; son, BJ Jones; grandchildren, Kiersten Burling, Rylee Langley, Burke Shanklin, Taylor Langley, and Paisley Shanklin; great grandson, Weston Smith; brothers, James Jones & wife Carol, Donald Goss, and Ricky Jones.
Boyd will forever live in our hearts.
