Brad was born was born September 30, 1958 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Charlotte and Wally Smith. His family spent time in Virginia, Pennsylvania and North Carolina before settling in Houston. Brad attended Sanderson High School in Raleigh, Graduated in 1976 from Aldine’s Eisenhower High School and then attended the University of Houston.
He lived a humble life in the same Inwood Forest Neighborhood which his family moved to in 1974. He was an avid fan of all Houston sports and a collector of stamps and sports memorabilia. He worked for 40 years at the same Foleys/Macys at Willowbrook Mall.
He is preceded in death by his parents Cephas Wallace “Wally” and Charlotte Desper Smith and his Sister-in-law Dina Smith. He is survived by brothers Blake Smith and his wife Cheryl of Hunt, Texas and Dr. Bruce Smith of Windsor Colorado; and four nephews, Josh, Ben, Ryan and Austin.
