Brian Christopher Porter Philippus blessed us on November 15, 1989 with his birth. As in life, he wanted to do things his way. He tried for several weeks to come early and when his due date came around, he decided he would wait until the doctor pretty much forced him to enter this brave new world. Our Brian left our care on December 5th, 2016. In all honesty, we were not at all happy with his departure but God has better plans and we trust in those plans. Brian left behind his "madre", Linda Porter, two older brothers Todd Bridges and wife Katie Bridges, two nephews and one niece, and Joshua Philippus and his girlfriend, Nalley Perez. Other family members include two aunts, one cousin and one grandmother not to forget his beloved cat "Spaz". He was also blessed with countless friends in his life. Brian had the great ability to make people laugh and we've been told that he was always there when his friends needed him. He loved music, going to concerts and playing pool. He was a bright, funny, shining light in all of our lives. He was taken way too soon but now we all have a special guardian angel that we know is with us everyday. Love you my Brian, heart and soul.
