Carl Ray Stephenson age 71 of Houston, Texas transitioned to be with God on January 24, 2025 after a
lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Vanessa Ann Jackson Stephenson, for 47+ years, a
devoted and fun-loving father of two, Shayla Dione Stephenson Benoit (Joseph of Houston, Tx.), Sean
Carl Stephenson (Maricris of Rialto, Calif.) and a loving grandfather of Nyla Benoit, Jalen Benoit, Jordan
Benoit, Amari Stephenson, Imani Stephenson, and Kiary Mayes-Taylor.
Family and friends are invited to gather at The Church Without Walls, at 5725 Queenston Blvd, Houston,
TX 77084 on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11:00am for Carl’s Home Going Celebration.
