Dear Patrick Family, I have only just learned of Carla’s passing.  She and I worked together at Commonwealth Mortgage in the late 80’s.  I let all of you during the course of our friendship.  I remember visiting her is Dallas and talking to her about her dreams of starting her own business.  She was an amazing person and loved her family very much.  I’ve tried to find her over the years and then this memorial page popped up today.  The world lost a beautiful soul but Heaven is the better for it.  She is with her mother again.  My deepest condolences to you all.

Carla u were such a big part of my life when we all went 2 church 2gether a looong time ago.  I enjoyed c-ing u at the reunion at Pappasitos...it had been way 2 long since I had seen u.  U still had the same amazing smile and laughter.  We also shared the same birthday which made it extra special. I Love U and I know ur dancing around the throne.  I will never 4get u!

We have so many wonderful memories of Carla.  Lynn talks about when Bro Carl Patrick was the pastor in Daisetta, Texas.  Many of the saints who were there during that time have mentioned that they are praying for the family in this time of loss.
  I (Anita)  have many fun memories of Carla: teaching at ACA, she made flowers for my wedding, she felt impressed to give us the blue Ford Escort when we only had one car, we helped her move to Dallas many years ago.  The rope holding the mattresses on the truck somehow rubbed until it was cut in two.  The mattress flew up and over Carla's car, but everyone was okay.  The guy behind her said "that was some good driving, dodging that mattress"
   What a small world, that I would meet and marry someone she knew from Daisetta, Texas.
    Carla always had a smile on her face, and an infectious laugh.  She will be truly missed.
   We love you!!!
