2022. Carlos was born March 19, 1970. Carlos was a very thoughtful, loving, and caring person. He was very hospitable and enjoyed being the life of the party, in fact, he always had jokes and made everyone laugh. He was a loyal Astros fan, whether they were on a winning streak or losing, he considered himself their #1 fan. One attribute that he leaves behind is that Carlos was such a wonderful and amazing father to his two sons. He went above and beyond for his sons and taught them everything he knew. He was a great and very patient husband to his wife of 25 years of marriage He leaves behind his two sons, Javier A. Cortazar and Matthew Cortazar and his wife Michelle Rodriguez Cortazar. Also, his siblings Jose Cortazar, Robert Cortazar, Lettie Maguire, Gabriella Quintanilla and Martha Fuentes. His in laws, Javier Rodriguez Sr. and Enriqueta Rodriguez, Javier Rodriguez Jr., Jaime Rodriguez and Maria Rodriguez, along with many nieces and nephews. He will join his beloved parents Alfredo and Inez Cortazar. We will love you always and will miss you very much Carlos.
A visitation for Carlos will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
