Carlton Wiley of Spring, TX, passed away on December 18, 2022. He was born in Nixon, TX to parents Vernon and Inez Wiley. He is a graduate of Sam Houston High School. He went on to join the United States Army as a member of the Infantry Division during the Vietnam War. After the army, Carlton worked as a Commercial Construction Superintendent his entire career. He was happily married to Ranea Wiley for twenty-six glorious years. He was an active and a well-respected member of North Oaks Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and his church family. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, golfing, boating, camping, and spending time with his loving family. He was an expert craftsman and spent many hours in his workshop working on various projects. He enjoyed going to see his favorite baseball team, the Houston Astros, and football team the Houston Texans.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents Vernon & Inez Wiley; and sister, Wanda Carraway. He is survived by his wife, Ranea; his children, Gwendolyn Crowell (Billy), Melissa Ramirez (Paul), Josh Manning (Rabia), Justin Manning (Kayla), Jacob Manning (Erika); grandchildren, Zach, Josh, Aaron, Megan, Braxton (Hannah), Braydon, Lauren, Lincoln, Vera, Vana, Madalynne, Vela, Karaline, Kamille and Kaleb; and sister Janice Cain (Butch).
Family and friends will be received from 10am-11am at North Oaks Baptist Church (18411 Stuebner Airline Rd, Spring, TX 77379) on Friday, December 23, 2022. Service will immediately follow from 11am-12pm. Burial will be at Brookside Funeral Home at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX at 1pm.
