Carol was born on October 1, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio, to parents Alvin and Mary Easterday. Jim and Carol moved their family to Texas in 1974. Carol was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church.
Carol touched many lives. We each have our special memories with her that made her so irreplaceable and loved. She was family oriented. intelligent, hard-working and strong-willed. She always gave anything and everything she had for her family and friends. She raised her 4 kids by example and they too share the same traits.
Carol was the foundation of our family will be sorely missed.
She loved doing things with her friends, such as game days at church and going to Louisiana to play a little one arm bandit. She loved animals, except cats so she said, but she always had our cat sitting in her lap purring away. She loved game shows and Hallmark movies and she especially liked watching “The Masked Singer” with her daughter every week. Her greatest love though, was for her grandchildren. No matter the cost, she was always there for them.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband of almost 40 years James Owens, her parents, Alvin and Mary Easterday, her sister Kay Pilkington and her brother James Easterday.
Carol leaves behind her;
-Daughter Debbie Johnson, son-in-law Don and grandson Dustin.
-Daughter DeeDee Baker, son-in-law Ray and grandson Ty.
-Son Donald Owens, daughter-in-law D’Anna and grandchildren, Brenden, KiKi and Faith, and great grandchildren, Nolan, Jayce, Quinley and Hayley.
