Caroline M. Montelongo, age 80, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Caroline was born in Houston, Texas on February 4, 1945. Caroline graduated from San Jacinto High School and later married Joseph Montelongo on March 4, 1968. She had a career with oil exploration with Hughes MPD. Family was everything to Caroline. Her family would often gather at her house where precious memories were made. Caroline is preceded in death by her Mother Hilaria Gonzales and her brothers John Martinez and Paul Gonzales. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph Montelongo and children Caroline Morales (Dario Morales), Josie Mireles (Hector Mireles) and Jay Montelongo. Grandchildren, Matthew Montelongo, Ariana Mireles, Jacob Mireles, Austin Montelongo, Alyssa Montelongo and Ashley Montelongo. Great Grandchildren, Ethan Montelongo, Cameron Montelongo, Grayson Mireles and Amelia Mireles. Brother and Sister Roy Gonzales and Clara Perez.
A visitation for Caroline will be held Friday, June 6, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, located at 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A visitation will take place Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A chapel service will occur Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A committal service will follow Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023.
Serving as pallbearers are Jay Montelongo, Hector Mireles, Israel Perez, Matthew Montelongo, Jacob Mireles and Austin Montelongo.
