George and Bev, 
I remember your excitement in Egypt when you announced that No 3 C was on the way. We had fun afterwards as young families. 
You brought up a fine woman by all accounts, and you can be proud of that.  We can do no more as parents.  I can't imagine your hurt, my friends, I hope it's receding now. 
I'll light a candle for her in the church in Kitzbuhel, where she had a great time in the snow, and which  is now my home.

I want to express my deepest condolences to Catherine's family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and I am very deeply sorry for your loss.  I have gotten to know Catherine over the past four years working at Ascendant/Avnet and lately Sirius. Many fond memories come to my mind, which give a glimpse into what a kind, genuine, helping person she was. She had a very cheerful outlook towards life in general. Always open to making new friends and lending a helping hand. 

She and I started working together at Ascendant back in March of 2011. I had just moved to America, and did not have many friends in Austin.  During those four weeks I spent in Texas, I fondly recall many long hours of conversations of our different lives growing up in South Asia. Her tiger stories from Indonesia over multiple Hoegaardens at Fado's on 4th street, definitely come to mind. She was gracious enough to invite me to her home a few times for dinner/parties. I specifically recall one evening, of playing fetch with Manor into the wee hours of the morning (he was but a pup back then), with Shell quietly watching over. I did not have a car back then, but she was also gracious enough to give me a ride when needed. Since my Austin days, I moved and settled in Chicago, IL and we remained sporadically in touch for the next couple of years, having the opportunity to hang out once again in Phoenix over work committments. 

That changed again, this past year once we started working together again on the same client engagement. We have had a chance to converse almost everyday and share snippets of our lives as it has progressed these past years. We met up in Raeligh in August for work and amongst others, had a very fun eventful evening where she also got a chance to speak with my wife on the phone. We have shared many photos of our newborn son with her over the last few weeks and so looked forward to introducing him to Catherine and visiting her, Manor and Shell in Austin. She insisted we stay in her home; she was always so gracious and generous. 

We never know when our last chance to be around our friends and family may be. I cannot tell you how grateful I feel to have had that night in Raleigh. I only wish I could have more of them. 

I take with me these conversations, the shared bottles of wine, the many work conference calls and these fond memories of the bright cheerful friend we all lost to tragedy.

Love knows no boundaries. While Catherine is no longer physically with us, her spirit is always around. My deepest condolences.

On behalf of the IBM team who worked with Catherine for the past several months I want to express our sincerest condolences. Catherine was smart, energetic and charming; not only were her contributions to the work valuable but she made the long days and tough challenges easier to bear. She will be deeply missed.

Cat had a beautiful heart, mind and smile. She was a beacon to so many. I was blessed to be her roommate for a season and learned so much from her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

We are so, so sorry that this has happened. Catherine was a sweet and creative young lady. I remember the ceiling of her old bedroom in Indonesia with the glowing stars to dream on. She was so full of positive energy. Our hearts hurt for you in this time of sorrow.

I'll always treasure our New Years Eve with the grandchildren...what fun we had with Catherine and Tiffany standing and waving outside the open sunroof as road around in the neighborhood yelling "happy new year!" at midnight
