Charlene Jennings Pickens

Charlene helped her husband of 59 years open Chemmark of Houston, Inc. in 1974. She continued to support the business for the duration of her life. Charlene and Pat retired and moved to Westwood Shores in Trinity, Texas in 1988.

Charlene loved home-decorating, reading, socializing, and playing bingo with her friends. Her witty and dry sense of humor and smile could light up a room. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her husband, F.P. “Pat” Pickens; and son, Roger Patton Pickens. She is survived by her daughters, Becky Pickens and husband Craig Barton, Shannon Mayer and husband William; grandchildren, Justin Dedear and wife Lauren, Brenna Dedear and fiancé Chris Sanzo; great-grandchildren, Norma, Abigail, and Parker; brothers, Jim Jennings, and Lou Jennings; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm, Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Pat H. Foley & Company. Funeral services will be held at 10am, Friday, September 4, 2015 also at Pat H. Foley & Company. Interment will be held at 2pm, Friday afternoon at Trinity Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity, Texas.
