

Charles was born on December 8th, 1924 to William and Edith Noble. He married his high school sweetheart, Mary Corrigan, on December 31st, 1945. Charles and Mary had four children: Patricia Noble Green married to David, Robert Noble married to Barbara, Gary Noble married to Joy and Katherine Noble Cater. They were blessed with 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary, sisters Edna Coon and Estelle Ettredge. Charles is survived by brother, Ed Noble and wife Marlene, sister-in-law, Leah Jane Corrigan.
Charles proudly served as a United States Marine in WWII in the Pacific Theater. He continued his service with the National Guard until he was honorably discharged with the rank of First Lieutenant in 1957.
Charles, a banker by profession, held positions with banks in Beeville, Edna and Brenham before moving to Houston in 1960. He served in executive positions with Long Point National Bank, Greater Houston Bank, International Bank, Metropolitan National Bank as well as West University Bank. He was the organizer and founding President of West Hollow National Bank. Charles was also previously associated with Doyle Stuckey Homes, and The Kickerillo Companies.
Charles was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. He was instrumental in the development of St. John Vianney Catholic Community. Charles had been a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a life time member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

There will be a Rosary starting at 5:00 pm and visitation will begin from 5:30 until 7:00 pm on Friday November 16, 2012 in the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday November 17, 2012 in the St. Michael Catholic Church 1801 Sage Rd. Houston, Texas 77056. Interment will follow in the Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
