Charles Edward Schorre

Charles was born on the 16th of August 1928 in Runge, Texas to Frankie and Paul Schorre. He married the love of his life, Aliene Morgenroth on the 21st of October 1950. They were married 55 years when she passed away in 2005. He leaves behind his second wife, Darma of 17 years. He also leaves his son Randy Schorre and wife Beverly, his daughter Karla Huckin and husband David, his granddaughters Faith Knudsen and husband Steven, Dawn Stefka and husband Bryce, Haley Lynch and husband Austin, and Hanna Pustizzi and husband Greg, and nine great grandchildren. He also leaves his brother Kenneth Schorre and wife Toni, and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Aliene and firstborn son Ronnie.

The family would like to thank the care given by The Forum Community, Constellation Hospice and Dr. Michael Buxbaum, At Your Side Homecare and all their wonderful and compassionate staff.

Honorary pallbearers are Steven Knudsen, Bryce Stefka, Austin Lynch, Greg Pustizzi, Chad Schorre, and Keith Morgenroth.

Friends are cordially invited to gather with the family and share remembrances of Charles on Saturday, the 7th of June from half past eleven o’clock in the morning until half past one o’clock in the afternoon in the grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

Prior to the service, the family will have gathered for a private interment at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
