Clarence Arthur Dansby, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Clarence was born on September 26, 1948 in Timpson, Texas to parents Clara and Arthur Dansby. His family moved to Houston, Texas where Clarence completed elementary and middle school. Clarence later attended and graduated from Phillis Wheatley in 1966. He also attended Texas Southern University where he studied business until he was drafted into the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After the war, Clarence became a pipefitter in the Oil Gas Industry. Clarence was a member of the Lilly Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He had a passion for cooking, fishing and traveling.

Clarence is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Clara Marie Fleming; father, Arthur Dansby; and brother Charles Dansby. He is survived by his daughter, Stacie Dansby; son, Everett Jones; and grandchildren, Jacob and Dylan Jones.
