Courtney was born on December 10, 2001 to John Jr. and Tennille Rice in Houston, Texas. Courtney received her education from Cy Creek and Connections Academy. As a child Courtney knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian because she loved to nurture animals. Don’t be mistaken, Courtney was a girly girl, full of fun and ambition. A very caring and outspoken person who loved children. She was very protective of the people who were most important to her. She would never leave the house without her hair and makeup looking flawless; she was a beautiful person inside and out!
Courtney was baptised in 2007 at “The Church Without Walls” and she loved attending children’s church.
Courtney transitioned on June 18, 2021. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Bobbie Watson.
Courtney leaves to cherish her memory, mother, Tennille Rice; father, John Rice Jr., brother, Christopher Rice; maternal grandfather, Alfred Watson; paternal grandfather John Rice Sr. (Brenda): paternal grandmother Wendolyn Rice; uncles, Alfred Watson, Paul Watson, Brian Rice and a host of relatives, family, friends and godmother Tiffney Smith and Pam Smith.
