

Craig Alan Hart, 64, of Katy, Texas, passed away in October 12,2024. Born on June 2, 1960, in Illinois, Craig spent the majority of his life in Galveston, Texas, where he established deep roots with his family. He was a gracious and caring individual, always ready to offer advice or engage in meaningful conversations. Unfortunately, he lost his battle to cancer and will be remembered by his friends and family. He fought with grace, dignity, integrity and courage.
Craig graduated from Dobie High School in Houston and pursued a successful career at Goodyear, retiring in 2022. His hobbies included golf and poker, passions that he shared with friends and colleagues during annual trips. Craig's love for golf led him to support the Houston Golf Association, particularly the First Tee program, reflecting his commitment to the sport and his community.
He is survived by his mother, Brenda Lopez and stepfather, Rick Lopez; father, Chuck Hart and Charlotte Hart; brother, Kyle Hart; stepdaughter, Jessica Cregg; and stepson, Taylor Davis.
A memorial service will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079 on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Houston Golf Association in Craig's name.
The family would like to give a special thanks for the care and compassion to the nursing & staff of Houston Methodist Hospital and Houston Hospice.
