  Chuck, I want you to know I thought a lot of Craig. I filmed his first wedding for him.  He came to my dad’s funeral after working all night and I’ll never forget that.  I told my wife when I die I only want you to call Craig Hart and Wes Millican and nobody else. Something funny I remember about Craig was when I was doing a crossword puzzle and the first word was thirty and second word was something.  I only had first word and ask him if he knew second word and he said it’s thirty something and I said I know it’s thirty something but what is the second word and he said it’s thirty something and  took my pen and wrote thirty something.  We got a big laugh out of that.  We had a special friendship for each other.   He called me a year or so ago and said I was the one that got him to playing golf and he wanted me to know he got a hole in one.  One night at work he had gone to the nurses office and when he returned I had cleaned up his area.  He was so surprised.  He returned the favor one night when I didn’t feel good because of a kidney stone.  I called Wes Millican November 2 to wish him a happy birthday and he told me about Craig passing and that the funeral was that day. He had tried to call me but we had done away with our land line and he couldn’t reach me.   I’m sorry I didnt make it.  I would have if I could because we were best friends.

Dad,

You stepped into the role of Dad with patience and grace bringing your unique view of the world. Your genuine love for people made two young kids feel welcomed into a blended family, and melted the heart of a stubborn matriarch.

I am going to miss your infectious love for people. As I remember you, I think of how you always engaged with people from all walks of life. Sometimes, I would be stunned at the thoughtful and in-depth conversations with people that I assumed you knew, only to find out that they were complete strangers to you.

Stubbornly, I wish you were still here, but I know I will see you again. Rest in peace.

Craig was always kind and gracious to me, and I am truly grateful for that.  My deepest sympathies to all of Craig's family and friends, especially Lesley, Jessica and Taylor.

Craig and I met, dated,  fell in love, married, he became a father to my kids, divorced and became a life long friend. There were good times and some down times. We spent holidays together. We spent time together through his illness until he left this earth. He will always be remembered and loved.

All who’ve known Craig are missing him so greatly. He was so loved by all family and friends.  In turn, he was one of the most caring and loving men I’ve known.  Prayers remain with all impacted by his passing.  You will never be forgotten Craig.

I got to know Craig many years ago as he was my daughter in law’s beloved step father. He was always witty and engaging and he had a real love for people. When Craig walked into a room, you could expect lots of conversation and laughter! He was solid, stable and dependable. It was obvious that he loved his step children, Jessica and Taylor,  to the moon and back! 
This good man will be greatly missed. 

Rest in peace, my friend.

Craig was not only a special coworker but also a wonderful friend and person. At Goodyear, he trained me on various jobs, and he was exceptional. I admired him for being consistently encouraging and supportive, even when I made mistakes or felt frustrated. His unwavering faith in me was invaluable. Following a courageous, well fought battle, he received his wings.  Now he’s teeing off with the Angels.  Heaven gained a skilled golfer. 

He will be deeply missed.

I met Craig briefly and he was kind. May his memories bring you comfort & peace in the days ahead.
