Cristela Sanchez

Cristela Sánchez , age 90, of South Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her home; going out to eat with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a devout catholic lady who attended church every Sunday as she was able. She also enjoyed dancing and shopping with her daughters.

She is preceded in death by husband Enrique Sanchez, son Enrique Sánchez Jr..

Cristela is survived by her daughters, Blanca E. Vallejo and husband, Jose L. Vallejo; and Dora A.Sánchez ; grandchildren; Maria L. Gracia and husband, Cesar, Gilbert A. Medina Jr. and wife, Norma, Delicia N Sánchez, Daniel E. Sánchez, Jorge L Hinojosa II, and wife, Janett, F. Javier Hinojosa, and wife, Iris; Adriel Hinojosa, and wife, Silvia; Delina L Molina and husband, Jenaro; great grandchildren; Anissa M Gracia, Cristian J. Gracia, Isaiah V. Medina, Elijah G. Medina, Neylie M. Hinojosa, Jorge L. Hinojosa III, Brandon Hinojosa, Landon Hinojosa, Sofia Hinojosa, Alexandra Hinojosa, Sarahi Hinojosa, Ethan F Pérez, Evan N. Cruz, Melody R. Hernández, and Enrique J. Hernández along with other extended family members.

A service for Cristela will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A visitation will occur Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, 1211 Michigan St, South Houston, TX 77587. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home & Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.
