Cynthia Jean Holland

The funeral service will be held at Brookside Funeral Home 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039 in The Grand Chapel. Visitation will be held at 5:00pm – 8:00pm Tuesday, May 9th, 2017. Burial will follow the funeral, Wednesday May10th, 2017 at Brookside Cemetery at 1:00pm.

Cynthia was born in Jacksonville, Texas on July 3rd, 1948.

Cynthia was married to Ernest Holland on November 26th, 1965; they were married for 33 years.

Cynthia worked as a receptionist for Vinmar International for 22 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and gardening in her beautiful yard. She was also actively involved in her church.

Cynthia is survived by her many loving sisters and brothers. Her children; Nick and his wife Carrie, Gary and his dog Zoey, Richard and his wife Laura, grandchildren; Cara, Cristen, Chris, Meghan, Nicholas, Erika, Lindsay, Tyler, Brandon, Jacob and Grace, also her great grandchildren; Miles, Alli, Kennedy, Penny, and Olivia and other family and friends.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her Father George Mc Bride and Mother Bessie Mc Bride, Husband Ernest Holland, Brother; Jimmy Mc Bride and Sister; Ruby Castle and her much loved Grandson Randy Holland.
