Daisy Louise Gibson

She was born December 28, 1935 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to parents Jesse and Lena Elizabeth Patterson. Daisy retired from Maxwell House Company as a machine operator; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her children: James (Jimmy) Howard Gibson and his wife Elaine, Donald Eugene Gibson and his wife Denise, Donna Marie Jones and her husband Ronnie, Juanita Kaye Hanson, Robin Renee Elder, Cheryl Lynne Henderson, Gloria Faye Booker; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother Clifton Patterson and his wife Sarah and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Daisy is preceded in death by her husband Willie (Bill) Howard Gibson; parents; sisters: Gladys Koster, Bertha Brown, Hattie Lee Skelton and Mary Ellen Shuttlesworth; and brothers: Henry Patterson, Homer Patterson and Fred C. Patterson.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Friday, April 1, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a burial in the Brookside Memorial Park.
