Dale Norman Bigger

Dale Norman Bigger, beloved son, brother, husband, step-father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away at the age of 74 on July 2, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication to his family and community.

Dale was born on February 15, 1950, to his parents Douglas and Connie Bigger in Flint, Michigan. As a devoted son, he cherished his family deeply along with many cousin in Michigan, and maintained close bonds throughout his life. He grew up alongside one brother, Duane Bigger, forming a lifelong friendship and endless collection of memories.

After graduating from High School, Dale entered the United States Armed Forces as part of the 101st airborne, serving his country in the army with honor during the Vietnam War. His bravery and commitment earned him several titles of recognition and many friends and colleagues.

In 1982, Dale married the love of his life, Cynthia Bigger, and embraced her children as his own, becoming a cherished step-father. Together, they built a loving family and welcomed grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.

Dale was not only a devoted family man but also a pillar of his community. As the owner of a well-known taxidermy store, he shared his passion for wildlife and craftsmanship with countless customers over the years. His skill and artistry in preserving nature's beauty earned him widespread respect and admiration.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dale was known for his generosity and kindness, as well as strong moral compass, standing up for those in need. He actively participated in community events, lending a helping hand wherever needed. His warm smile and timely wit touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In his leisure time, Dale enjoyed his free time as a hunter, hunting guide, lure collector, and mentor finding solace in nature and the company of loved ones. He will be remembered for his unwavering integrity, and sense of humor.
