Daniel Alfredo Navia, age 26, of Houston, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was born in Houston, Texas on September 10, 1996 to parents Azucena Calata and Jaime Navia. Daniel graduated from Lamar High School and received a Bachelor’s degree from University of Houston Downtown. Daniel had a career in computer science and had a passion for rebuilding computers, working on cars, power lifting, hiking, and riding his motorcycle.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Martin Calata Montez, and Alfredo Navia Barajas; grandmother Esther Martinez Soto; aunt Eliza Calata Martinez.
Daniel is survived by his parents Jaime Navia Garcia and Azucena Navia; sister Laura Sanchez; brother-in-law Erick Sanchez; niece Emily Sanchez.
A visitation for Daniel will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a rosary service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
