To Danny's Family,
 Danny and I worked for 14 years at Bayshore National where he was one of our true stars, and I have little doubt, as I now stare into heavens sky, he is the brightest star I can see. 
  If in a lifetime you are fortunate enough to cross paths with just 10 Danny Silences, you would be blessed. He was my friend and although today I am saddened, my memories of Danny are heartlifting and shall always be cherished. 
  Rest in grace and eternal peace my friend.

To Danny's family; I have been away and had not spoken with Danny in a while - we worked together @ Bayshore National Bank in La Porte and had maintained contact over the years; we exchange e-mails and I'd call on the phone; when I returned home and the e-mail came back I feared the worst because we'd talked about two weeks ago and he told me he was not making too much progress, but was determined to "tough it out". Dan was a strong person and I learned a lot from him - I will miss him very much, I will light a candle for him at Mass this weekend.I am very sad tonight and my thoughts & prayers are with the family.

Danny, your were fun to work with and always kept things "interesting" with your funny and sometimes silly emails. Especially the ones that were ridles or questions designed to make us go online and franticly google to try and find the answer, then we could win one of your great prizes!  Miss you

You will be missed Sir Danny, your sense of humor and wit was like no other. RIP my friend

We were so sad to hear of the loss of Danny. I have many wonderful memories of Danny while we worked together at Bayshore National. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

My condolences go out to the family of Mr. Silence. May the GOD of all comfort provide you with whatever is needed so you can cope with your great loss. Also you can look forward to a end to all causes of death and the heartaches it brings.

Danny was a good neighbor. He and my Joe would sit on the deck and talk and talk. When we had the big hurricane and were without power for so long he'd walk down here.  He loved to talk about the package dinners they gave us. He was a good board member at Bay Point.  I am glad he's not suffering anymore.  More than likely he and Joe and Andy are talking in heaven together,    Kay Gold

Danny I am going to miss your great wit and sense of humor. You had such a way of always trying to make our jobs fun and interesting. What I will miss the most is getting to ask you "How are you doing today"? and your famous response "Peachy Keen". No one could come close to saying it like you! You were a one of a kind!

My words cannot begin to express the heaviness i feel in my heart. Danny you were a great friend and co-worker and a light in my Brandon's eyes. I will miss you and I am thankful and grateful that you and I were able to share some laughs (some tears on my end) and get the job done!
