Jimmy and Linda I am thinking about you and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed all the years that we spent playing ball together.  You and your family were like family to me.

I cherish so many great memories of the many fun times during our softball years with Darla and you guys. I still have belly laughs when I recall all of them. Linda, Jimmy and Darren, you are in our prayers during this very tough time.

Darla was one of the kindest and funniest people I have ever known.   So many fun times together, and will miss her smile.  My heart is broken for the loss of this amazing soul.  

We are so sadden to hear of Darla’s passing.  Praying for Gods comfort for all of you.

THE COOLEST AUNT TO EVER LIVE. Man I miss you. Never thought it would be like this but I know for sure your by my side helping me out. I’ve gained you as a angel and I’ll see you again soon. All the times at astroworld with Memaw and Meghan where the absolute best and funnest times and especially on the seadoo at the lake. Thank you for all the talks and wisdom and for always reminding me that I was a Tapley and we do it a certain way. I love you. ❤️

So many awesome memories. Trips to New York, Italy, Mexico. Watching football on Sundays. Poolside in so many places. I will miss her sweet smile every day. ❤️

My condolences to the family. Darla was a part of our Houston Medical imaging team. I had the pleasure of meeting her and found her to be kind and willing to help me when I had questions concerning CT. She will be missed. Prayers and God bless  all.

There are so many memories! Working alongside you at HMI was one of the best times! I knew when a day was heavy and busy, you would come in and toot your horn! You'd say "Meghan, it'll be alright, we got this." You were always encouraging and uplifting.  I can hear your voice when I think of you and I hope that never changes. 
 The flyby for Healthcare workers in Houston, you were so excited for that! Anytime the Astros won! Kite stories! Weekend adventure story swapping! The Christmas party where you danced and danced!
 Darla, you were the best. 

Darla touched the lives of so many. She was truly a joy to have around. She made a friend everywhere she went and was so quick witted. She had me laughing all the time. 

Fly high my dear friend. You are loved and you are so missed. 

Darla was a joy to work with. I loved her vibe! She was easy to work with and talk to. She will truly be missed. 

I miss you already! I met Darla at ROID many moons ago. Darla took me under her wing and made me better myself. I will miss your voice and the conversations we had. I will miss your advice but what I will miss most is YOU!! I remember that she had this thing with me..she would give a WORD OF THE DAY and tell me that I had to use that word all day long...and well I did the best I could. We had great laughs and we made great memories! God took you home way too soon!! Sending prayers to Angela and the Tapley family!!

Darla was the absolute coolest friend who made me feel like a badass… especially if we were on the same team, lol.  Just being in her presence was all it took.  I Love You and I am sorry I did not take getting together more seriously (Catching Up) - Always think there is more time… wish I could go back!  Thank you for being a true friend.

Darla was a special person to me. Even though we didn't see each other as much as we should have after UTI closed, we were always there to support each other. I'm so grateful for the weekend she and Ang spent with us in Fredericksburg and also sad we won't be able to do that again. Love you, Darla, and will miss not having you here. God speed, beautiful angel❤️

Shawna, Macy and I have the greatest memories of Darla struggling through our boot camp but what a joy it was to have you guys there. Always so much fun and laughter and “C’mon Darla’s” which we still laugh about today. She was the sweetest soul and the two of you were the perfect pair and a beautiful couple for us to look up to.  You guys are all in our thoughts, this is such a tough pill to swallow. Sending love. 

It was a hot steamy spring day, not unlike today, and I sat in the dugout waiting to bat. Darla handed me a frozen pickle and I took a bite and almost barfed.
