He was born on April 10, 1946, in Donna, Texas to his parents Daniel and Justina Martinez, and his six siblings Joe, Danny, Paul, Ruben, Obed, and Tim. He was a dedicated pressman at Cargill’s Printing and Stationery, where he made a significant impact during his career.
David is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Alicia Martinez, who shared many joyful years with him. They celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this year.
Known for his passion for NASCAR, David enjoyed the thrill of the races and cherished the time spent with fellow enthusiasts. He was a devoted member of his church and an avid churchgoer, dedicating most of his time to volunteering and supporting various community initiatives. His warm spirit and generous heart touched the lives of many. David is remembered for his unwavering faith, kindness, and commitment to helping others. His warm personality and love for life will be deeply missed by those who knew him. David’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
