David was born December 07, 1957, in Freeport, Texas, to Alfred F. and Hortencia G. Moya.
He graduated from Marian High School in 1975. He married Mary Louise Salazar on April 28, 1981, in Houston.
David retired from the U.S. Postal Service in January 2014 after 35 years of service.
David’s generosity and kind heart were an inspiration to his family. He lived his life with integrity and bravery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Moya, daughter and son-in-law, Marisa and Christopher Figat, and son, Michael Moya.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Hortencia Moya.
