

David was born on April 21, 1943, in San Antonio, Texas, to Angelica Martinez. He later made Houston his home, where he built a life centered on family, hard work, and service to others.
On October 25, 1995, David married Jane Torres Palomo, with whom he shared many cherished years together.
David dedicated his career as a Warehouse Manager for Aramark, Inc., where he was known for his strong work ethic and leadership. David proudly served in the United States Armed Forces during the Vietnam era, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty and love for his country. He was also a proud member of the American Legion, actively supporting veterans, service members, and their communities through advocacy, support, and youth programs.
Above all else, David valued family time. He deeply enjoyed gathering with loved ones and watching sports with friends, creating memories filled with laughter and connection.
David is survived by his children: Natalie J. Esparza; Peter G. Castro and his wife Connie; Gabriel L. Castro and his wife Lily; and Nasario N. Salazar and his wife Angela.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Victoria and her husband Jack, Victor and his wife Natalie, Thomas, Kristina, Joshua, Jeremy, Morgan, Alianna, Jesse, Michael, and CAT Rose; and his great-grandchildren: Josiah, Violet, Valentina, Aria and Vincent.
David is further survived by his siblings: Sylvia, Sally, Gilbert and his wife Juanita, and Joe and his wife Rosa.
He was preceded in death by his mother Angelica Martinez , and his brothers Mike, Rudy, Robert, and Ruben.
David Eduardo Palomo Sr. will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to others, and the warmth he brought to everyone who knew him.
