Debra Lynn Broussard

Debra attended Gause Elementary School, Westside Jr. High School, and graduated from Hearne High School in Hearne, Texas in 1975. Thereafter, she went to the University of Houston and took courses in business administration and finance.

Debra married Danny Keith Broussard on May 25, 1984. Two children, Rien Ashley and Brandon Joseph were born of this union. They attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Houston. Debra worked for various oil companies in Houston throughout her career, including Exxon Mobil and British Petroleum. She loved to travel, read, and watch real crime investigation shows. She loved her family deeply and supported her children in all of their endeavors while they were growing up and as adults.

Debra is preceded in death by her husband, Danny. She leaves to cherish her in their memories; mother, Luberta Green; daughter, Rien Broussard Thomas (Joel); son, Brandon Broussard; grandson, Joel Thomas III “Trey”; sister, Detra Green Hill (Rickey); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

A visitation for Debra will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Paradise Funeral Home. A funeral services will immediately follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The committal service will follow immediately after the funeral services at 12:30 PM Paradise Cemetery North.
