Delaine Westling

DeDe was born on March 7, 1961, in Houston, Texas. She continued to live most of her life in that same area, and many of the people in that city remember her as that smiling bartender who made them all feel so welcome for many years.

DeDe’s true passion was people, whether in her work or free time. She loved being with others, during the good times and the bad. Her caring nature would always bring her to the side of friends and family whenever they needed someone most. Many times throughout her life, she generously offered her time to family members when they were no longer able to care for themselves. She never stopped trying to do for others, even when her health had started to decline. She was an example to everyone of how giving one person can be.

As caring as DeDe was, she also knew how to have a good time. Many of her friends will remember her joking, laughing, and joyous to be around. If you ever got a chance to see her riding her motorcycle around the city or country, then you saw a happy woman who was truly enjoying herself. She loved the beach, and as many vacations as her limited time would allow. Her favorite place to travel was Cozumel, Mexico, and she even requested that her friends continue to visit there for her once she had passed.

She believed that angels watched over us all and she would give them special thanks any time someone close to her made it through a trying situation. She always took comfort in the fact that when it was her time to go, she would finally be able to join the angels that protected her loved ones for so long. DeDe’s spirit will continue to look after us all, even though her physical body no longer can.

DeDe leaves behind her son Steven Kimball (Megan D’Allura), stepdaughter Danielle Westling (Jeff Kong), grandchildren Emma & Aiden Kong, Mother Charlene Bradley, siblings Dawn (Domingo) Rangel, Dana Pierce and Don Bradley Jr. She is preceded in death by her Father Donald Bradley, and her sister Donna Miller. She also leaves behind hundreds of friends who will love her forever.
