Born on June 10th 1940 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, she lived a normal life. She was loved and well cared for by her parents Marion and Louis Daniels, her sister Karen, and many, many relatives. There was Old Uncle Charlie, Young Uncle Charlie, Young and Old Uncle Frank, Nana, Aunt Del, Uncle Jerry and Uncle Spot, a host of friends and relations that kept her happy and moving forward. She graduated from St. Hubert’s Catholic High School in 1958 and married Robert J. Reilly, her sweetheart since the age of thirteen. They had three children; Robert, Donna and Brian Louis Reilly.
She began a 50 year career in the legal profession, beginning at 16, two years before she graduated high school, and eventually rose to be one of the top legal secretaries in Houston.
Dianne had moved her family to Houston, Texas on August 18, 1968 and had begun her new life as an honorary Texan, with her beloved husband, Robert G Anderson. Always a dedicated worker and skilled assistant, she had the distinction of being the only legal secretary, in the 80 year history of the State Bar of Texas, to serve two State Bar Presidents - Wayne Fisher with whom she worked for from 1974 to 1988, and Bob Dunn, whom she worked for, from 1989 until her retirement in 2006.
In 1975, she married her third husband, Richard J. Naiser, sharing happily the next 25 years with him, until his passing, on October 1, 2000.
Dianne, our mother, was devoted to those closest to her, and she leaves behind many dear friends, as well as our beloved group she referred to as “the little family.” Robert Reilly, her son, Donna M. Wilson, her daughter, Jeff Wilson, her son in law, grandsons Blake and Jacob Wilson, will all miss her dearly, and we will always make time for her in our thoughts. We are grateful for the time we were given.
Dianne was preceded in death by her father Louis Daniels, her son Brian Louis Reilly, her second husband Robert Anderson, her mother Marion Daniels, her sister Karen Mahoney, her aunt Delores Bringham and her third husband Richard Naiser.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 25th at 10:30 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church located at 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, TX 77079.
Anyone interested may feel free to make a donation in Dianne’s name to one of the ministries at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, to support their efforts to assist the less fortunate here in Houston, the city she loved so much.
We love you Mom. We will miss you more than you could have ever imagined.
