Doris Marie Owen passed away peacefully, on December 1, 2014. Doris is preceded in death by her late husband Walter "Jim" Owen, her son Gary Lee Owen and her sister Gladys Tyra. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Linda Owen Bryant, granddaughters, Shannon Elizabeth Clark, Stephanie Michelle Clark, brother, Bobby Thompson, aunt, Eloise Thompson, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation for Mrs. Doris Marie Owen will be at Brookside Funeral Home on December 5, 2014 from 5 to 8. On December 6, 2014 the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am in the Grand Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home and Interment will follow in New Waverly, Texas.
