Dorothy Redding, 95, passed away in Cyprus, TX on Saturday, July 21, 2012 following a stroke. She was born in Sedalia, Mo. on October 20, 1916 to Thomas and Maude Dillard. She was a loving mother and for many years, a dedicated bookkeeper for her 1st husband, Lawrence Heidbreder, CPA who passed in July 1979 after 42 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her second husband of 19 years, Jack Redding, parents, and brothers Paul, T.J. and Kenneth Dillard and grandson Eric Heidbreder. She is survived by son Larry Heidbreder and wife Sherry, son Paul Heidbreder and wife Paulette, stepson Tim Redding and wife Julie, stepdaughter Joann Brasher : grandchildren Aaron, Laura, Amy and Allison Heidbreder and step-granddaughter, Erin Roberts. She loved socializing and belonged to the ‘supper club’ for decades. She was a dedicated Astro’s fan and an avid reader. A visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, July 26 followed immediately by a memorial service at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy. A private family graveside service will be held on Friday.
